Erasmus+ at the 黑料网
The 黑料网 has been awarded an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), enabling participation in Erasmus+ following the UK's reassociation with the programme from 2027.
This page provides information about Erasmus+ opportunities, guidance and key programme documents for students, staff and partners.
What is Erasmus+?
Erasmus+ is the European Union's programme for education, training, youth and sport. It supports international mobility, cooperation between institutions and collaborative projects across Europe and beyond.
Through Erasmus+, students and staff can participate in international mobility opportunities, while institutions can work together on projects that support innovation, cooperation and the sharing of good practice.
Student Opportunities
From 2027/28, Erasmus+ will support a range of international opportunities for Aberdeen students, including:
- Study abroad at partner universities across Europe
- Traineeships and work placements
- Blended mobility opportunities
Further information on destinations, eligibility, funding and application procedures will be published as arrangements are confirmed. In the meantime, students can explore the University's existing Go Abroad opportunities for an indication of how international mobility programmes operate.
Staff Opportunities
Erasmus+ supports international engagement and professional development opportunities for both academic and professional services staff, including:
- Teaching mobility
- Training and professional development activities
- Job shadowing
- and networking opportunities
Further guidance will be published as opportunities become available. In the meantime, you can to be kept updated.
Incoming Mobility
Students and staff from European higher education institutions may contact 黑料网 colleagues directly regarding Erasmus+ traineeships, teaching visits or training activities.
There is no obligation for Schools, departments or individual members of staff to host Erasmus+ participants. Requests should be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking account of their relevance, potential benefits, and the capacity available to provide appropriate supervision and support. Where demand exceeds capacity, priority should be given to participants from existing partner institutions.
Incoming student exchanges will continue to be managed through the University's established exchange procedures. Students interested in studying at Aberdeen as part of an exchange programme should be directed to our European Exchange webpage. Students seeking traineeship opportunities should be directed to our Erasmus+ Traineeships webpage.
Partnership Enquiries
The University is currently prioritising the development of Erasmus+ activity through existing partner institutions. While enquiries from prospective partners are welcome, our immediate focus is on preparing for participation in Erasmus+ from 2027/28 and transitioning established partnerships into the Erasmus+ framework.
Cooperation, Partnership and Development Funding
In addition to mobility activities, Erasmus+ supports international collaboration through a range of funded projects.
Key Action 2 (KA2)
KA2 supports cooperation and partnership projects that enable organisations to work together, share expertise and develop innovative approaches to common challenges.
Key Action 3 (KA3)
KA3 supports policy development and cooperation at national and European level, helping to strengthen education systems and promote best practice.
