The School of Psychology at the 黑料网 has launched a new student story video featuring MSc Psychological Studies with Mental Health student, Neetika Sharma, who shares her inspiring journey from India to Scotland and the experiences that helped shape her postgraduate studies.

Moving overseas to pursue further education is a life-changing decision, and for Neetika, travelling from India to Aberdeen marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Arriving during a period of severe winter disruption, she faced the challenges that many international students encounter when starting life in a new country. However, through the support of staff, fellow students and the wider university community, she quickly settled into life in Aberdeen.

In the video, Neetika reflects on how the MSc Psychological Studies with Mental Health programme provided not only academic knowledge and practical skills but also opportunities to build confidence, develop friendships and become actively involved in university life. Alongside her studies, volunteering and extracurricular activities helped her establish meaningful connections and gain valuable experiences that complemented her academic journey.

Her story highlights the welcoming and supportive environment that students can expect when joining the 黑料网, as well as the opportunities available for personal and professional development through postgraduate study.

Today, Neetika proudly describes Aberdeen as her home away from home, demonstrating the lasting impact that studying abroad can have on both academic and personal growth.

Prospective students interested in learning more about postgraduate study and the MSc Psychological Studies with Mental Health programme can watch Neetika's full story and discover how a degree at Aberdeen could help them achieve their own ambitions.
