Our University is undergoing a transformation to make it more resilient and relevant and we’d love your input as we enter another key phase.
We are launching a new project to gather student and staff views on the current culture of our University and, critically, hear what our culture and values should be.
Culture is central to an organisation's success, and is built on the actions, attitudes and behaviours we all bring to campus each day.
We are conducting our Culture Audit with the help of independent consultancy ibex gale, together with our existing partner Peachy Mondays, who have helped us with previous staff and race equality surveys.
Their role is to create a confidential space for you to give your views, and you'll be able to do so via various options, including a new Anytime Channel where you can respond to specific questions at a time that suits you.
All of this is voluntary and just share what you're comfortable sharing. What matters most is how the information you provide will be used – to help us build culture and values for our University that’s shaped by our students and staff.
You'll hear more from ibex gale shortly, including how to get involved, and look out for them at our BeWell Week Fair in Elphinstone Hall. You can see more at our Culture Review page.
Best wishes,
Nick Edwards, Chief People & Student Officer and Chair of the People and Culture Workstream
Janine Chalmers, Head of Organisational Development and Chair of the Culture Review Group
