Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is abusive behaviour directed at someone because of their gender. It is a result of deep-rooted gender inequalities and perceived gender roles within society.
It takes the form of actions that result in physical, sexual, and psychological harm or suffering or compromise a person's dignity. This can include coercive behaviour or denying someone their freedom.
The EmilyTest GBV module is a short, interactive module to help all students recognise, prevent and respond to gender based violence. To access the course
