Items from Greenland and elsewhere in the circumpolar north with contemporary works of art are brought together in the Kings Museum, at the 黑料网.
Opens Wednesday 8 February 2012
Created by artists Mark Eischeid, Jennifer Littlejohn and Malize McBride, with Jo Vergunst from Anthropology at the 黑料网.
The exhibition is based on artists recollections of fieldwork visits from Scotland to Ilulissat, Greenland in 2010. It explores artistic and anthropological engagement with place, past and present, based on field research, artistic response and museum collections at the 黑料网 and brings together items in the 黑料网s museum collections from Greenland and elsewhere in the circumpolar north with contemporary works of art.
