Three Aberdeen primary school classes are celebrating after winning a school visit by Edinburgh Zoo Wild Bus.
Hanover Street Primary 5, Hazlehead Primary 6 and Culter Primary 7 all won an Amazing Animals contest organised by the 黑料网鈥檚 Natural History Centre.
Primary five, six and seven pupils were challenged to choose an animal that interests them, explain why in a poem and create a poster featuring the creature.
Marie Fish, Education Officer at the Natural History Centre, 鈥淲e had a great response to our competition with around 250 entries from 10 city primary schools.
鈥淭he standard of posters was really impressive - children had really researched their animals and found out all sorts of interesting facts about them to include in their poems.
鈥淎ll the posters are on display, next to the relevant animals, in the University鈥檚 Zoology Museum and the public are welcome to come and have a look.
鈥淲e really hope our winners really enjoy their Edinburgh Zoo Wild Bus visit.鈥
