Dr Daniel Flavin and Dr Aoibhinn Lawlor. Both are the GP partners of Cill Chuimein Medical Practice and were my main point of call during my placement there. They allowed me to ease into taking my own consultations throughout my time there, and were fantastic at providing teaching opportunities. By the end of my placement I felt I had been able to do most of the learning goals I hoped to achieve and was able to see a vast amount of presentations, both acute and chronic. Dr Flavin especially tested my knowledge on the spot to a good degree and this encouraged me to further read on many topics. Overall, I felt their approach was very good for not being too overbearing, allowing me to see many patients by myself, but still very much provided the support when I needed it. Above all they were extremely approachable and friendly and I felt I got on very well with themselves and the wider team at the practice.
