The team welcomed me from day 1 and involved me in clinical decision making, pre-ops and post-ops. The little time I was allowed in theatre definitely was the highlight for me.

N/A Although I would have appreciated if we would have been allowed more time in theatre which was discouraged by nurse educators despite the vascular team informing us that it would be good learning experience.
Would you like to tell us more about the concern related to discrimination, bullying and harassment?

The entire vascular team but especially Mr Balila, Mr Naiem, Mr Mirghani, Mr Renwick, Mr Abdalla, Mr Obaye, Sherman, Suki (CT1), Dr Guibao, Dr Shaikh, Dr MacAteer, Dr Shanks, Dr Swanson and Tabitha (FY2). All worked tirelessly to make sure I met my learning goals and improve my knowledge and skills. I have improved my skills in this placement, more than any other placement I have been on so far. Thank you very much to all those mentioned who made my 8 weeks very memorable and an enjoyable experience.
