I have enjoyed spending time learning more about a specialty with interested me. I’ve seen a wide range of presentations and got to attend the ward, clinics, theatre and the MDT.

Freya Scutt - plastics senior registrar who has helped me meet my block requirements by teaching me in theatre, making herself available to help with placement assessments (long case) and generally encouraging me on this placement. Sindhoo Rangarathan Rebekah Loy Laura Irvine Cherry Hudson Roma Years All of the plastic surgery registrars have helped me make the most of this placement through encouraging me to attend OPLA and theatre where they have supervised and taught me, helping me develop essential skills e.g. LA, suturing. Their support has really made the block for me and I’ve loved my time in plastics. Colin Seel FY2 was extremely supportive when I joined him for my assistantship and shadowed on call. I gained a lot of experience on the ward and in taking referrals.
