I feel the cooking facilities at the accommodation were insufficient for a 5 week placement. (Carmelite house, Banff). We had access to a microwave and fridge along with a kettle in our room, but there was no access to a freezer, oven or stovetop. Additionally, the only sink we had available to us was our bathroom sink, where we had to wash our dishes. The host was lovely and accommodated us well in other ways but I found it very challenging to be unable to cook properly for this period of time.
